Ecommerce development

Ecommerce development for stores that take payments and ship orders smoothly

An online store is a catalogue, a checkout and a fulfilment process joined together. The catalogue is the easy part. The hard part is making payment, stock, orders and delivery agree with each other, especially in markets where cash on delivery, mobile wallets and local couriers are normal.

Theme29 builds ecommerce platforms with those realities in mind. We have worked on an online electronics retailer's store in Bangladesh, and our Karjokrom platform handles order confirmation, courier booking and fraud checks for shops.

Ecommerce development services

Storefront and catalogue

Product listings with variants, filters, search and clear pricing, designed for the way people browse on a phone.

Cart and checkout

A short, trustworthy checkout with address handling, delivery options and the payment methods your customers actually use.

Order management

A back office to confirm, pack, ship and track orders, with statuses customers can see.

Custom features

Bundles, pre-orders, wholesale pricing, loyalty rules or marketplaces where standard store software falls short.

Payments, couriers and fraud

This is where ecommerce in Bangladesh and similar markets differs most from a generic template.

Payment gateways

bKash and SSLCommerz alongside Stripe, PayPal and Razorpay, and cash on delivery where it is the norm. Our InvoiceX product already integrates all five gateways.

Courier booking

Book deliveries with courier partners from the order screen instead of copying addresses between systems.

Order confirmation and fraud checks

Confirm suspicious or cash-on-delivery orders before shipping, and check customer history to reduce returns.

Stock across online and in-store

When a sale happens in the shop, the online quantity updates, and vice versa. This is where our POS work connects.

What good ecommerce development delivers

Higher completion at checkout

Fewer steps, familiar payment methods and clear costs mean fewer abandoned carts.

Less manual order work

Automated confirmations, courier booking and status updates take repetitive tasks off your team.

Accurate stock

One inventory across channels avoids selling what you no longer have.

A store that can be found

Clean product URLs, structured data and quick pages help products appear in search.

How an ecommerce project runs

  1. 01

    Catalogue and operations review

How many products, variants and orders per day, how you pack and deliver, and which systems must stay connected.

  2. 02

    Store design

Category structure, product page layout and the checkout flow designed on a phone-size screen first.

  3. 03

    Build and connect

Storefront, admin, payments and courier integrations built together and tested with real order scenarios.

  4. 04

    Load the catalogue

Product data import, image preparation and URL planning so search visibility is preserved if you are migrating.

  5. 05

    Launch and tune

Soft launch, monitor orders and payments, then improve based on what customers actually do.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you build stores on Shopify or WooCommerce, or custom?

We mainly build custom storefronts and back offices, and can work with WordPress where a content-led store suits. If a hosted platform fits your needs better and cheaper, we will say so.

Can the store accept bKash and SSLCommerz?

Yes. We integrate bKash and SSLCommerz, and international gateways like Stripe and PayPal, depending on where your customers are.

Can you connect the store to my physical shop's stock?

Yes, particularly if the shop runs on a POS we build or one with an API. We review the shop system during scoping.

Will my products show up in Google?

We give product pages clean URLs, structured data and a sitemap so they are eligible to appear. Actual visibility depends on competition, content quality and reputation, which nobody can promise.

Can I get a mobile shopping app as well?

Yes. We build Flutter apps that share the store's back end, so products, stock and orders stay consistent across web and mobile.
